Fish Creek Pond campground was really great. The staff at the gate didn’t have much to say and wasn’t much of a welcome. Our lot was a waterfront site #84 which was a great spot that was cleared and offered a decent view of the lake. Neighbours were friendly and kept to themselves. The overall campsite crowd was quiet which was nice. The toilet facilities offer indoor plumbing and cold water to wash your hands. You’ll have a mirror and an electrical outlet as well. Toilet paper is paper thin so expect that. A lot of spiders in the washroom as well. It is the wilderness but I’m just painting a picture of what to expect.

Spent a night here while paddling through the lakes. Campsites are a nice size with easy to access water taps and restroom facilities. Restrooms are surprisingly clean and in good shape. Playground and beach are really nice for the kids. You can drive or paddle in. Check where your campsite is online before coming in, some can be hard to find.

Very spacious lots and heavily treed with a small beautiful beach. Rangers were excellent (helped us promptly deal with and evicted problematic neighbours). We will be back next year!!! Close to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake which are very nice scenic towns to visit. Highly recommend. Best camping despite having no electricity and no water for the trailer.

This is the best family campground in NY. There is a large playground near the beach. Almost all of the 300+ Sites are on the water. Some sites are small and only for tents and other sites are larger and can fit all the way up 40' motor homes or trailers. There are no sewer, water or electric hookups. Sites do book up early so you must plan in advance. Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are within a half hour drive of here.

Great campground with lots of the essential family amenities. One reason for four out of five stars was the bathrooms were having consistent issues while we were there. But overall our family lives this place.....love waking up right on the water!

Awesome park, we had site 249. Close to other sites, but on the water. We kayaked from our site rode our bikes around the huge park. Best sites are 134 and up, bigger and less crowded. The water is clean and clear, lots of different lakes that run together right there to kayak, no need to leave. 3 days we went nowhere. My favorite park on our NE trip. Highly recommend it. We live in TN, but will be back.

Great campsites right on the water (ours had a tiny “beach” where you could wade into the water. My only real complaint is the shower house was a long walk. There are restrooms near all the campsites but the showers were pretty far from our site.

Fish Creek is a great campground overall, with most sites on the water. The only significant downside was the condition of the restrooms. The closest one to our site had 2 of 3 toilets in the men's side out of order, and other restrooms had out of order signs as well. When choosing a site, campadk is a great resource for site photos.
